Overview
We are seeking a proactive and growth-oriented Senior Accountant to join a new finance team. This role will focus on operational accounting, financial reporting, and regional coordination, while supporting the Group Controller in strengthening and expanding the finance function. The Accountant will play a key role in supporting investments in Indonesia, working closely with counterparties in Europe and the USA in helping to build a high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in transactions, reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with statutory, group and regional requirements.
• Partner with the Group Controller on regional consolidation, investment monitoring, and cross-border financial coordination.
• Liaise with stakeholders and counterparties in Indonesia, Europe and the USA on accounting and reporting matters.
• Support the growth of the finance function by developing processes, documentation, and best practices.
• Contribute to team-building by mentoring junior team members and assisting in onboarding new hires as the team expands.
• Ensure compliance with audit, tax and statutory requirements, maintaining alignment with group policies.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, financial analysis and system/process enhancements to drive efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA).
• Min 7 yrs hands on financial accounting experience and financial reporting, ideally with regional exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, compliance and reporting.
• Collaborative communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and geographies.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills.
• Adaptable, hands-on and eager to grow into a broader role with opportunities to shape and build the finance team.
