The Senior Accountant engages and partners with a diverse group of stakeholders in the company as well as across the globe, both financially and non-financially trained. About the Senior Accountant (Six-month Contract) Role:
Reporting to the regional finance manager, you will be responsible for operations accounting activities in the global buy sell operations, primarily in the areas of inventory and intercompany space. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with various stakeholders including Geography/Country Controlling, Supply Chain and Tax to support business requirements in their initiative, including setting up new process to ensure VAT reporting compliance where Trading Company is the importer of record
• Maintain integrity of financial statements and compliance with US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements through enabling process improvements and documentation of processes and SOP to meet internal control and reporting requirements
• Drive automation, standardisation and simplification in processes to continuously improve end-to-end processes and maintain strong internal controls governance
• Be responsible for E2E inventory/global intercompany accounting processes accounting process for buy/sell operations for different legal entity books in SAP R/3 and S4
• Execute month-end closing activities in a timely manner, which includes intercompany revenue accruals, purchase price variance analysis, transfer pricing markup activities, FX related activities, reconciliations activities (such as balance sheet accounts reconciliations), as well as balance sheet/profit and loss flux analysis and reviews
• Prepare month-end reporting for validating results (e.g. product billings completeness), variance explanations and financial statements analysis
• Perform independent month-end reviews and analysis for exceptions. Where there are exceptions, investigate, communicate and provide resolutions for the root causes. Ensure action items are communicated and followed up effectively with the relevant parties and closed off with proper documentation
• Support internal and external audits in the relevant scope. Maintain the integrity of the companies\xe2\x80\x99 financial statements and compliance with US GAAP, local statutory, integrated compliance controls and indirect tax controls and compliance

To succeed in the Senior Accountant (Six-month Contract) role, you will need to be meticulous, possess strong accounting knowledge and be a keen learner. Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
• Five or more years of accounting experience, with at least three years of hands-on experiences in SAP FI/CO and MM modules
• SAP competency is required
• Related experience gained with MNCs in consumer products or manufacturing is highly preferred
• Relevant experience in intercompany and inventory accounting is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook with ability to deploy them effectively for analysis reporting, presentation and process-flow improvement
• Good documentation skills with proficiency in Powerpoint and Visio
• Ability to work collaboratively and partner cross functionally with multicultural stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with ability to bring across complex concepts succinctly to broad and diverse stakeholders
