Senior Accountant/accountant (general Ledger) Manufacturing

The Company
Our client is a global leader in the high technology manufacturing industry and they continue to grow and expand their operations, they are seeking a Senior Accountant/Accountant, General Ledger to be part of their dynamic team in Singapore.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the General Ledger for the business which will include journal postings, Inter-company, Costing and Fixed Assets, month end closing, B/S reconciliation, B/S schedule preparation and analytical reporting on performance and Company KPI.
You will also ensure timely preparation of monthly reporting pack, Monthly/Quarterly/VAT and GST Tax reporting and Quarterly Corporate Tax provisions. Last but not least, you will also have the opportunity to lead in identifying process improvement and efficiency projects within the organization.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA, with the following relevant experience
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting within a manufacturing and/or shared services environment
- Prior exposure to SAP will be essential
