The Accounts Executive role reports to the Accounts and HR Manager. The job entails both Accounts processing as well as an HR Administrative role. In addition to offering employees chances to enhance and learn new skills, the company also provides a dynamic work environment for individuals who seek challenges and fulfillment in their career paths.Job TitleAccounts Executive Verify transactions are posted appropriately and ensure all payments are properly authorized Handle accounting functions such as posting of journals, intercompany reconciliations & billing as well as assist in the closing of monthly accounts Preparation of monthly balance sheet reports for main & subsidiaries accounts Perform bank reconciliation, Prepare audit schedules for both Singapore and Malaysia's GST submissions Work closely with the management as wells government associaitons on government grants submissions Manage and analyse our Malaysian subsidiary's accounts including AP, AR, GL, P&L and balance sheet Assist with monthly salary and commission calculations Help in HR processing roles such as work pass applications, monthly CPF submissions etc.Skills / Requirements Diploma or Degree in Accountancy Minimum 1-3 years working experience in handling a full set of accounts Able to start work within a short notice Accpac user experience a plus Familiar with GST rules & regulations Responsible, self-motivated and diligent Willing to travel to office location at Yew Tee SingaporeCompany Description Scanteak is Singapore's leading Teak furniture retailer, with 11 showrooms in Singapore, and over 140 showrooms worldwide.
