Reporting to Team Manager of Accounting and Payroll team, you will be responsible for financial accounting and outsourced payroll of assigned client\'s portfolio. You will work closely with local and offshore team in an effective manner to motivate and coach the team, to continuously meet clients\' expectations, to optimise the work process and to maintain close contacts with clients.Some of the things you\'ll be doing:

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual accounts closing, submit quarterly GST reports timely
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with the provisions of the Singapore Companies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
  • Prepare administrative services
  • Ensure accuracy of accounts and proper accounting records are maintained in accordance with financial filing requirements and standards
  • Processing client\'s payroll and handle all payroll matters
  • Setting payroll system tailored to clients\' needs
  • Co-ordinate timely and accurate payroll processing to a portfolio of clients
  • Responsible for payroll related queries and ad-hoc/quarterly/year-end statistical reports for financial control, internal and external auditors
  • Assist to review and guide offshore colleague\'s deliverable to ensure it meet client\'s expectation
  • Work closely with colleagues in various department to follow up on billings, accounts receivable matters
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Maintain up to date knowledge in statutory regulations by IRAS, SFRS, identify and adapt quickly to changes in those regulations
  • Ensure payroll-related issues are in compliance with statutory regulations
  • Directly liaise with external auditors and prepare necessary information upon request
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
What technical skills, experiences and qualifications do you need?
  • Required level and content of education:
\xc2\xb7 Possess a minimum Diploma holder or its equivalent
  • Business experience required:
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years\' working experience in accounts and payroll
\xc2\xb7 Hands on experiences in handling full set of accounts with sound groundings in accounting principles
\xc2\xb7 Well-versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
\xc2\xb7 Familiar with Employment Act and CPF Act
\xc2\xb7 Experience in Times Software payroll an advantage
\xc2\xb7 Willing to hands-on and capable of driving changes and initiatives
\xc2\xb7 Analytical, meticulous with excellent leadership qualities
\xc2\xb7 Possess professional qualities with good communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Language skills/other skills required:
\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English and Chinese
