Job Purpose

This is a supporting role to upkeep the growing business units in the local transportation landscape. Your role includes but not limited to keeping financial records up-to-date and accurate, as well as handling queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Senior/Accounts Officer duties and responsibilities are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant/Manager, your job responsibilities will be as follows:

• Assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end management reporting;
• Prepare monthly management reports and projections (include financial analysis);
• Validate and upload financial data to reporting systems;
• Assist in yearly budget and forecast;
• Assist in the preparation of presentation information;
• Participate in ad-hoc improvement initiatives and User Acceptance Tests (\xe2\x80\x9cUAT\xe2\x80\x9d) for system enhancements;
• Preparation of Account Schedules and Reconciliation;
• Handle business unit\'s queries and request;
• Other ad hoc requirement from business units

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 years relevant working experience or in keeping full set of accounts.

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Working knowledge of SAP system, Lucanet and Anaplan would be an added advantage;

Generic skills include:

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude and the ability to cope with tight deadlines, hands-on, meticulous, analytical and independent.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills and have a strong sense of business acumen.
