We are seeking a Senior AI Solution Designer who will translate business needs into clear AI enabled solutions, workflow logic and user journeys. This role focuses on providing end to end solution design for AI and automation use cases, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and the AI platform capabilities. You will work closely with Solution Architects, AI Engineering Tech Leads, Product Owners and business stakeholders to design solutions that are practical, scalable and operationally ready.
You will be responsible for shaping solution options, validating if a request requires AI, automation or process enhancement, and ensuring that the proposed design fits enterprise constraints. The role requires strong analytical ability, solid understanding of AI platform capabilities, familiarity with no code and low code tools, and the ability to prepare solution design documentation for governance review. This is a design-oriented role rather than a full time development or coding role, but requires enough technical fluency to prototype concepts, validate feasibility and guide implementation teams.

• Translate business needs into user journeys, AI features, workflow logic and clear solution specifications that can be executed by the technical teams.
• Provide end to end solution design for complex AI and automation use cases, mapping business requirements to AI platform capabilities and system integration needs.
• Specialise in mapping business problems to AI capabilities such as RAG, summarisation, classification, extraction, conversational flows and agent based logic.
• Design AI enabled workflows including branching logic, prompt flow, human in the loop steps and exception handling. Familiarize with Agentic AI capabilities and AI Workflow such as n8n (or equivalent)
• Capable to consult and explain the behaviour related to AI performance such as token usage, latency, response patterns and model constraints.
• Prepare Solution Review Board (SRB) documents, ensuring all designs meet the technical, security and operational requirements for governance clearance.
• Conduct rapid AI prototyping to validate design concepts using AI tools, no code or low code, simple pro code platforms and reusable components from the enterprise AI platform.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architect, AI Engineer Tech Lead and Product Owner to ensure the proposed solution addresses business problems in a feasible and scalable way.
• Work with process and service designers to jointly develop the combined AI and automation solution, including the design of workflows that may use AI workflow tools.
• Master the use of no code and low code AI tools, workflow products and automation platforms to accelerate solution ideation and prototyping.
• Engage and work with system owners, integration teams and domain experts to identify dependencies, data availability, API readiness and the linkage needed for the end to end solution.
• Assess incoming requests to advise whether the solution requires AI or ML, automation, simple rule engines or process re design, and provide a clear recommendation.
• Document the full solution design including architecture, data flow, workflow, API requirements, UI or journey considerations, guardrail requirements and operational needs.
• Own the operational design and stability of the solutions, defining monitoring, alerting, and lifecycle management strategies. You will oversee and support the troubleshooting of complex issues in distributed systems during implementation and operation.
• Drive the design and scoping of technical prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate new solution designs and technologies, defining a clear path from concept to production.
• Support design of technical prototypes and proof of concept work to validate assumptions, integration patterns and user experience before full scale delivery.
• Ensure solution designs comply with AI architecture standards, security, PDPA requirements, model governance, AI guardrail policies and enterprise integration patterns. Promote reusable solution design patterns and AI component and design pattern from central platform team.
• Participate in troubleshooting discussions during implementation to ensure alignment with the original design intent.
• Maintain a catalog of reusable design patterns, workflow templates and reference architectures to improve consistency and shorten design cycles. Sync up and align with the central platform team.
• Keep updated with enterprise platform capabilities and emerging AI or automation technologies to recommend new approaches for business needs.
• Serve as the design bridge between business teams, data science, AI engineering, software development teams and platform teams.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.
• Candidates with training in AI, business systems or solution architecture are preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in solution design, solution architecture or senior technical design roles.
• Experience designing AI or automation solutions in enterprise environments with complex processes and multiple system dependencies.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into AI enabled features, workflow logic and solution specifications.
• Familiarity with AI platform capabilities including RAG services, model hosting, inference gateways, guardrails, vector stores and prompt orchestration.
• Hands on experience with no code or low code AI tools, workflow tools and automation platforms.
• Good understanding of API integration patterns, system dependencies and the architecture of enterprise applications.
• Ability to create AI prototypes using available platform tools to validate design concepts.
• Strong understanding of user journeys, service design principles and workflow re design.
• Comfortable working with cloud services and on premise components to design solutions that work in hybrid environments.
• Ability to prepare high quality documentation for governance and technical review.
• Experience participating in design discussions for AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability with good judgement in selecting the right solution type for the business need.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to bring diverse teams together to align on solution direction.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail when preparing design artefacts.
• Curious learner with strong interest in new AI, automation and workflow tools.
