Job Description
Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Logistics industry. They are looking for a Airfreight Pricing Manager to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in East– easily accessible. This Airfreight Pricing Manager would be responsible for :
- Responsible to direct communication with Airlines on space allocation
- Responsible in providing optimized prices to sales people
- Responsible in searching for best pricing solutions in order to maximize profitability of AFR
- Responsible to handle Airlines Rates Procurement
- Responsible to handle customer tariff, contract pricing and rate application.
- Responsible in updating and disseminating carriers notices/ information on surcharge updates
- Understanding of flight routes & visibility of airline costing
- Responsible for optimizing on the loading plan on daily allotment
- Responsible for maintaining professional communication with internal stakeholders throughout the RFQ process on cost strategies to ensure our best pricing is presented in each proposal
- In charge of researching and tracking competitor pricing and market trends
- Minimum Diploma in any field of studies
- Minimum 10 year of experience in Air Freight Operations & Pricing Negotiation & Strategies
- Familiar with air carrier contracts (form and contract)
- Strong analytical and project management skills
