An exciting Senior Analyst, Finance and Regulatory Reporting job has just become available at a reputable multinational bank based in Singapore. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Regional Finance.

About the Senior Analyst, Finance and Regulatory Reporting Role:
In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of the Financial and Regulatory Reporting in Singapore and APAC, ensuring specific goals, plans, initiatives are executed /delivered in support of the team\'s business strategies and objectives as well as ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation and analysis of various financial and regulatory reports
• Assist Management in the preparation of Financial and MIS reporting, including monthly, quarterly, semi- annual and annual returns required by both the regulators and Head Office
• Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of procedures and strong controls to ensure financial records/submissions internally and externally are accurate and timely (e.g. GL maintenance and MTB submission to Head Office)
• Support reviews of existing booking practices across different countries in the Asia Pacific Region and support technical and/or process (re-)engineering projects undertaken to improve the efficiency and/or reduce risk contained within the work process of a department or the overall group
• Assist in resolving problems of the group with a specific focus on creating tangible/measurable operational efficiencies through the application of business, financial and process engineering knowledge
• Support the processing and management of inter entity invoice billings for the region
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance and update of the existing accounting system, regulatory reporting systems and/or enhancement of existing reports related to optimisation projects in the Asia Pacific region
• Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas in accordance with the company\'s values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
• Maintain the User Manual of the Accounting System - Support maintenance and review of the User Manual for the implemented accounting system, PeopleSoft regularly and ensure it is complete, accurate and updated
• Assist in the department\'s ad hoc projects implementation.

To succeed in this Senior Analyst, Finance and Regulatory Reporting role, you must have at least two years of regulatory reporting experience within the banking industry

Key Requirements:

• Minimum GCE A Level or ACCA qualification (candidate currently taking ACCA can apply)
• Work experience in the Banking industry, within a Finance group or academic equivalent
• Strong understanding of regulatory and accounting requirements, strong control mindset and documentation skills
• Experience and understanding of MAS Reporting
• Strong data analytical skills, such as SQL, Python, visualisation tools skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Access and VBA programming
• Knowledge of different systems and software such as PSGL, Loan IQ, Bankmaster plus, Object Charlie, K2, Regpro, etc.
• A team player and self starter, with strong time management and priority setting is required
