Checkout.com is looking for a Senior Analyst, Financial Control to join their Finance team, based in Singapore. The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic team player who is proactive and organised with strong attention to detail. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key contributor to the day-to-day accounting function including but not limited to the general ledger, fixed assets, revenue recognition, prepayments, accruals, A/P, A/REnsure month-end close entries are completed accurately and on a timely basis for assigned APAC entities
  • Prepare and review financial statements for statutory close monthly
  • Preparation of audit schedules for assigned entities and acting as key POC for audit queries and an integral contributor to the audit process (both locally and supporting the group audit with the consolidation of assigned APAC entities)
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly/ quarterly reporting to the regulators
  • Prepare VAT/GST returns for assigned entities where applicable to ensure compliance with local tax regulations
  • Provide reliable financial information for key decision-making to local management in a timely manner
  • Maintain documentation of financial process and participate in continuous process improvement
  • Participate in any system implementation/ testing projects or enhancements to existing systems or new applications, as required
  • Other tasks as directed by management
About you:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Economics, Accounting or equivalent with a strong academic record
  • Licensed Chartered Accountant or equivalent is a plus
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with a multinational, tech company
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and data manipulation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Team player
  • Well-organized, self-sufficient, hardworking and committed to results
  • Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong written and spoken English
