As a member of the HQ Regional Controllership Team in Sea Finance, you serve as a vital link between HQ Finance and country finance teams by leading the rollout of key initiatives and strategic developments.

Assist in overseeing and guiding local finance team on month-end closing, accuracy of system data and any accounting related matters Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget and periodic forecast exercises. Act as a central point of guidance for regional country finance teams, ensuring alignment with Finance-related directives from HQ Design and implement financial policies and procedures that adhere to both group-level standards and local GAAP Lead essential initiatives such as projects such as process enhancements, and system rollouts, while collaborating with stakeholders from various backgrounds

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or related fields, or other related professional qualification in accounting, such as the ACCA and ISCA. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience Big 4 accounting firm experience desired but not a must Strong team player with experience in leading, developing and growing teams Passionate in the finance space and loves to challenge the status quo Enjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment while delivering desired results Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders from diverse backgrounds Strong logical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with voluminous data management, statistics and research methodology will be a plus Willing to travel to local market within Asia for business trips
