Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Animator who is creative and passionate about bringing the best educational experience for our students. You possess a strong understanding of animation fundamentals, a great eye for detail and always strive to produce high quality creative videos for our primary school students. You will be working closely with multiple stakeholders and provide guidance in the execution of the production\'s creative vision.The candidate should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience in providing mentorship to a team of junior animators with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and design exciting 2D videos, graphics, and animation targeting primary school students to augment their learning experience
• Provide guidance to a team of animators in the execution of the production\'s creative vision
• Collaboratively establish and develop animation style, ensuring that animation across videos is of high-quality
• Provide support, mentorship and training to new hires, junior and mid-level animators by reviewing animators\' work and giving constructive feedback and guidance
• Provide solutions to and improve animation workflow
• Understand the pedagogical scripts, provide advice and determine if animation requirements are feasible
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, provide insights and conceptualise ideas
• Adhere to project management workflow and ensure timely submission of project deliverables

Requirements

• Degree in Animation, Motion Design, or other relevant fields
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, experience in start-up and Education sector are a plus
• Highly Proficient with Adobe, Photoshop, After Effects and PremierePro to deliver high quality, engaging animation
• Strong understanding of animation fundamentals
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Digital Illustration.
• Strong knowledge of Rigging tools such as Duik/Limber/Rubberhose.
• Possess strong coordination and organisation skills
• Possess excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
