What the role is:
You will play a critical role to oversee the development of acute and crisis care services in psychiatry and mental health care including the implementation of the Acute Psychiatry Services Transformation. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What you will be working on:

• Oversee the implementation of a national strategy to increase and enhance specialist outpatient, inpatient and emergency services in mental healthcare o Coordinate and oversee the development of outpatient, inpatient and emergency services nationally o Standardise model of care for mental health services as well as manpower complement nationally

What we are looking for:
Work Experience, Competencies and Personal Traits o A good bachelor degree preferably in science/ mathematics; or o A professional degree o At least 10 years of relevant work experience in healthcare and public policy development o Strong understanding of health and social care sectors o Experience in service planning and development is preferred. o Ability to lead and manage a team and think strategically, including good prioritisation skills o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, and develop evidence-based recommendations. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Need to be able to work independently as well as in a team, and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Candidates should possess the following: o Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities. o Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working. o Prioritising Competing Demands - Able to prioritise and manage competing demands, with a high level of professionalism. o Working Effectively with Stakeholders - Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose.
