To be part of a dynamic team and be responsible for the operational planning and execution of the clinical quality structure and ongoing/new Group Medical Affairs strategic initiatives. This involves establishing a system for cluster oversight of NUHS institutions in establishing specific quality and patient safety programmes, action plans and outcomes; and other governance / accountability structure and committees at NUHS level. Where necessary, the individual plays a facilitation and coaching role at the institution to assist in developing of the institution quality framework; and will coordinate opportunities for cross-institution learning.
A key area of work is to drive the NUHS adoption of the MOH Ensure Safer System (ESS) Programme. This would include areas of quality work related to Quality Improvement Methods such as IHI Model for Improvement or LEAN, Quality Standards such as JCI, Change Management.
There would also be involvement in projects related to improving patient care, cluster clinical performance indicators, cluster risk related committees and RI-Sys (Cluster Incident Management System).
