Responsible for liaising with Production, Customers, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, and Freight Forwarders to monitor, prioritise, and expedite all outstanding critical or urgent aircraft materials required for the project.
Perform analysis of all outstanding material requisitions and process back orders.
Responsible for generating and distributing daily outstanding material status reports to all relevant parties.
Maintain proper process flow through coordination between customers, departments, and freight forwarders to ensure the on-time supply of all material requisitions during aircraft maintenance checks.
Liaise with Production and Customers to resolve long lead-time material demands.
Ensure appropriate approval from Customers or Management prior to spare parts procurement and verify the Customer's ERP system for stock availability.
Attend production meetings and identify spare parts that could potentially impact the aircraft re-delivery schedule, cause work stoppages, or disrupt production schedules.
Support customer requests for material assistance and other reports when assigned.
Perform ad hoc material and operational tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
Comfortable interacting with customers.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.
Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
* Five working days, with additional scheduled support on alternating Saturdays and Sundays.
