Job Description




To manage and execute anti-violence programmes and their outreach, to raise awareness and advocacy as per the organisation’s mandate and to engage members of the community through initiatives, events and activities related to anti-violence and women’s empowerment in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Programmes and Outreach

  • Drive strategy and innovative pathways to lead and grow the existing anti-violence programmes
  • Build efficient processes to provide a more holistic approach to raising awareness on anti-violence and women’s empowerment in Singapore
  • Ensure the programme content is up-to-date, relevant and is abreast of developments and trends in the related fields
  • Liaise with beneficiary organisations (which may include corporates, community partners, schools, etc.) to deliver the anti-violence programmes and initiatives
  • Conduct foundational workshops for corporates, host webinars and events and provide operational support for the execution of antiviolence programmes
  • Assess feasibility where necessary, for all awareness and advocacy events and activities. Coordinate logistics, implementation, resource allocation and budget planning
  • Consolidate event feedback to assess impact, process efficiencies and optimal use of resources
  • Generate reports with key attributes to assess budget, reach and outcomes. Present the report findings to the Board as and when necessary
  • Be the subject matter expert on anti-violence and provide responses to interviews, media releases as required
  • Act as a liaison between the corporates and the community for outreach efforts including donation drives
  • Support and develop the anti-violence Programmes and Outreach team and be responsible for the team
  • Recruit, manage and train volunteers where required for the delivery of the anti-violence programmes
  • Work closely with the youth and students to curate and deliver gender equality projects / activities with schools and community partners 
  • Other duties as assigned

Partnerships
  • Explore and grow new partnerships to promote and improve outreach for all awareness and advocacy activities
  • Maintain and nurture excellent relationship management with existing partners and key stakeholders
  • Lead/co-lead cross-functional efforts with the Partnerships team with an aim to convey the story and impact to the donors and sponsors
  • Work jointly with the Partnerships team to ascertain funding partners, complete grant applications to corporates, foundations and other grant givers for the purpose of ensuring adequate budget and resources to sustain awareness and advocacy initiatives. In addition, provide updates to the funding partners in a timely manner

Communications and CRM
  • Maintain and ensure an updated list of all the contacts for partners, schools, sponsors, vendors and service providers to enable import into the CRM database for ready access when required
  • Work with the Communications team to develop the marketing collaterals for the events and assist with social media outreach
  • Maintain clear channels of communication within the team and the organisation

Academic requirement
  • A Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Communications, Law with relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with software tools / platforms like Canva, Google Docs etc.
