What the role is:
You will be part of a dynamic team to strengthen the governance of government grants through robust grant management processes and systems, stronger capabilities, and technology enablers. You will staff the inter-agency Grants Management Committee that coordinates efforts across the public sector and monitors the overall progress of initiatives to improve grants governance.
What you will be working on:
The broad areas of responsibilities for the portfolio include the following: o Engage and collaborate with the identified Sectoral Leads (MCCY, MSF, MOH, SSG, MTI, NRF and A*STAR) and Domain Leads (IRAS, CAD and GovTech) to develop/review and implement initiatives, frameworks and practices to improve grants management within each sector, as well as to build up capabilities; o Staff the Grants Management Committee and coordinate efforts across domains, as well as monitor the overall implementation progress of initiatives to improve grants governance by the Sectoral and Domain Leads; o Formulate and review policies to address emerging risks due to evolving grant landscapes and audit observations related to grants management; o Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy technological solutions to enhance public sector agencies' risk management efforts; and o Undertake any other projects as assigned.
What we are looking for:

• A background in finance, accounting and economics preferred o 2 to 10 years of working experience in areas of grant making, governance and controls would be advantageous o Keen interest in reviewing policies, processes and practices o Good facilitation, negotiation and persuasion skills o Possess strategic thinking, conceptual, analytical and planning skills o Strong interpersonal and writing skills o Ability to work both independently and as a good team playerv
