Job Description

Founded in 2006, Sun Venture is a long-term investor with a methodical and disciplined approach. We invest globally across a broad range of asset classes, including private equity, real estate, public equities, fixed income, and alternatives, with the goal of delivering sustainable value across market cycles.
As an integral member of the Real Estate team, the candidate will play a critical role in supporting both the investment and asset management functions.
Investment:

• Sourcing and underwriting of real estate opportunities
• Execution of real estate investment transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, and post-transaction management work
• Strategic planning processes, including research into new asset classes or geographies
• Portfolio management and reporting

Asset Management:

• Active management of portfolio assets including strategy implementation and ensuring that operational needs are met
• Monitoring and analysis of asset trading performance and financials to support strategy and decision-making
• Market research, performance benchmarking and management reporting

Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or equivalent. Master's degree in these fields and/or CFA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience underwriting and executing commercial real estate investment deals.
• Experience in investment, asset management and asset enhancements of hotel and/or commercial properties will be an added advantage.
• Experience in the UK and/or Singapore markets and value-add deals will be an added advantage.
• Strong financial modelling, research and analytical skills.
• Good presentation skills and ability to communicate complex issues in clear and succinct way.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage tight timelines.
