Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

• To acquire, grow and develop relationships with SME customers by actively up-selling and cross-selling products and services of the Bank
• To proactively manage, supervise and monitor the SME accounts under care to achieve optimum utilization and profitability
• To understand customers\' requirements and recommend suitable products and services to meet customers\' needs
• To deliver sound credit underwriting recommendations in line with the Bank\'s credit policies
• To advocate digitalization and drive initiatives in line with the Bank\'s strategy
• To ensure robust risk management through timely completion of credit/ customer due diligence reviews and compliance of mandatory banking regulations and processes

Requirements

• University degree holder with at least 2 years of relevant relationship management experience in commercial lending
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate strong credit risk assessment skills, business and financial analytical skills, sound products and SME industry knowledge
• Results driven, highly motivated, resourceful and possess the ability to develop business strategies and maintain discipline in planning and executing daily activities to align with the long-term vision and direction of the franchise and bank\'s priorities
