Role Overview



As an

Associate / Senior Associate

in the Corporate Practice at RHTLaw Asia, you will be part of a forward-thinking team advising clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. You will work on high-value transactions, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory work, while also embracing legal technology and AI tools to enhance client service and operational efficiency.





Key Responsibilities



To manage all client work allocated by Supervising Partner or other partners. To manage work involving corporate finance, capital markets transactions (equity capital markets and debt capital markets), listing of equity and debt securities, post-listing corporate actions, debt and equity fund-raising, mergers and acquisitions. To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously, the client is kept regularly informed on progress and costs. To exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner. To ensure confidentiality and security of all of the Firm's and client documentation and information. To achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording. To maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the Firm. To ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations. To supervise, support and develop immediate support staff. To take responsibility for and attend to self-development. In conjunction with the Firm, to comply with the relevant training requirements of the Law Society and to assist with in-house training as may be required. In liaison with the Head of Department and other partners, to be active in promoting the services of the Firm and its image and ethos.

Qualifications & Experience





Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. 1 to 3 years of post-admission experience in Capital Markets practice. Demonstrated experience in corporate finance and capital markets transactions. Solid exposure to equity capital markets is essential. Experience in debt capital markets is an added advantage. Proficiency in accounting and finance is preferred. Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous for regional client engagement. Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of business and financial drivers. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels. A collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. * AI-savvy: Comfortable using legal tech and AI tools (e.g., contract review platforms, document automation, legal research engines) to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client service delivery.
