Job Description

Kennedys Legal Solutions is looking for a Senior Associate with 3-5 years\' experience in financial market regulatory compliance.

The successful Senior Associate will have experience in:

• Acting for Issuers and issue managers in listings and initial public offerings in Singapore, both in the Catalist and Main Board of the SGX-ST.
• The listing compliance rules of the Singapore Exchange, and the Securities and Futures Act and Regulations of Singapore. This would include experience in the continuing listing requirements and practice directions and policies of the Singapore Exchange for both Catalist and Mainboard listed companies.
• Acting for offerors and target companies in takeovers and mergers, delisting exit offers and schemes of arrangement.
• Advising on the Singapore Code of Takeovers & Mergers. This would include experience in the practice directions and policies of the Securities Industry Council.
• Advising private equity and venture capital investments in pre-IPO companies
• Advising funds, REITs and Business Trusts.

Kennedys Singapore office was established in 2008 and in 2015 entered into a joint law venture (JLV) with local Singapore law firm, Legal Solutions to create Kennedys Legal Solutions.

We provide a seamless suite of services across both English and Singapore law.

Our Corporate team in Singapore is led by market leading partners with extensive experience of handling a range of corporate and commercial disputes.

The team in Singapore is part of the wider Kennedys Global Teams with lawyers in various offices across our global network. Our lawyers are regularly required to work with our colleagues in other jurisdictions. We also encourage all of our lawyers to build relationships with our clients at all levels and candidates should expect significant client contact.

Required experience

• Minimum of 3 years\' law firm experience, but we are open to applications from lawyers with the applicable experience and ambition*
• Demonstrable research, writing and communication skills
• Excellent academics.
