• Min 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting
• Open to good Big 4 auditors who are keen to join the PE industry. Also open to accountant profiles outside of the PE sector
• Self driven and hands-on

Our client is a boutique size PE firm. It is now looking for a hands-on Associate/Senior Associate – Finance & Operations to join its finance team.

The role will report directly to the Assistant Manager, Finance & Operations. He/She is responsible for managing all aspects of finance and operations including but not limited to:

• Maintenance of financial records
• Processing of payments, expenses and other bank transactions
• Monitoring weekly cash balances, including forecast
• Coordinate with outsourced service provider on month-end closing of management accounts and quarterly GST returns
• Coordinate with corporate secretary on corporate secretarial matters
• Liaising with auditors and tax advisors
• Liaising with internal/external stakeholders to meet reporting requirements
• Maintenance of office assets and IT inventory
• Liaising with outsourced service providers on IT related matters
• Dealing with ad-hoc finance and operations matters
• Provide operational support to other functions including Compliance and Fund Administration
• Any other tasks as assigned by managers

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, and professional accounting qualification (i.e. CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent)
• Min 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting
• Open to good Big 4 auditors who are keen to join the PE industry. Also open to accountant profiles outside of the PE sector.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
• Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines
• A team player who can manage individual responsibilities and work independently
• Prioritise and manage a varied workload, demonstrating flexibility within a busy team
• Meticulous, attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self driven
