Seeking a Senior Associate, Investor Relations/Capital Raising for global investments across various real estate funds and projects. You will be tasked with growing investor base with qualified high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. You will be tasked with raising capital for a series of funds and mandates that the firm manages and invest.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Capital raising - Build and cultivate existing investor relationships across investor base including family offices, high-net-worth investors, private banks, fund of funds, etc.
  • Develop and growing investor base including institutional investors as capital source.
  • Meet investors and effectively articulate the investment opportunities, investment philosophy and strategies to potential and existing investors.
  • Assist senior executives of the firm with strategic decisions and business initiatives associated with fundraising, marketing, and investor relations.
  • Participate in strategic planning with senior management to set financial goals, as well as the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic agenda.
  • Participate in investment, valuation and risk management processes and meetings.
  • Lead process of the development of all marketing materials (sales brochures, website, presentations, and letters) used in the capital-raising process; ensure consistent standards for all material and in all external communications.
  • Participate in organizing investor due diligence, subscription, and closing.
  • Develop and manage communication protocols for all boarded investors, including distribution of periodic performance updates and financial information.
  • Coordinate marketing meetings with prospective investors.
  • Attend industry conferences.
  • Project management on offerings including prospect tracking and prioritization, data room management, and roadshow planning.
  • Preparation of due diligence responses, meeting agendas, etc.
  • Support senior professionals in preparing investor knowledge workshops, annual investor meetings, semi-annual investor advisory committees, and quarterly investor updates.
  • Participate with senior sales and investment professionals in client and prospect meetings and calls.
  • Record all interactions with investors in a customer relationship management platform.
Qualifications / Preferred Skills
  • Previous track record of success in capital raising.
  • Minimum of 10 Years of experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize deliverables, and manage and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with due diligence processes and analyses.
  • Service-oriented and pro-active, with good interpersonal skills and a passion for developing strong relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Great personality and sense of humour.
