As part of our continued strategic expansion in the Asia Pacific region, and a commitment to developing a regionally focussed commercial arbitration and disputes practice, the Singapore office is seeking an experienced Associate / Senior Associate to support the broader team on a range of disputes and international arbitrations. Restructuring and insolvency-related matters are also a mainstay of the team's practice and therefore, experience in such matters would be a plus.


This is an exciting opportunity for a top-quality candidate to join a market-leading group which focuses of complex and high-value cross border disputes and arbitrations.


Key responsibilities



Assist the Partners and other team members on a range of complex and large-scale litigation and arbitration disputes Researching and drafting of documentation, advice and correspondence Helping to oversee a broad range of contentious matters and litigation activities Helping to prepare for hearings; collating documentation and overseeing the bundling process

Candidate Profile



To be considered for this position candidates should possess the following attributes and skills:


Between 3-6 years post-qualification experience in Singapore acting for and advising clients Experience as a Second Chair in arbitration and trial Excellent written and verbal communication skills and networking ability: Fluent in English Superb interpersonal skills and demonstrated relationship builder who develops lasting positive and value-adding relationships Flexible, well-organized, confident and determined individual with strong problem-solving skills Proactive, meticulous and delivery focused, you will have effective prioritisation, project and organisational skills Proactive in follow-ups and contributes with practical suggestions related assigned duties Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated excellent judgment, professionalism and integrity.
