Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee work completed by transfer agency administrative staff and ensure all fund policies and guidelines are followed.
• Manage the team's daily workflow, ensuring tasks are prioritised and deadlines are met.
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports with consistent accuracy.
• Work closely with the Account Manager to maintain smooth team operations and adherence to procedures.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and handle escalations when the Account Manager is unavailable.
• Process capital activity during month-end cycles.
• Update NAV information, maintain the investor register, and distribute relevant reports.
• Support auditors and other external parties as required.
• Communicate with investors regarding anti-money-laundering documentation.
• Deliver administrative services in line with fund administration agreements for hedge fund and private equity clients.
• Maintain shareholder records and perform transfer agent responsibilities.
• Process and verify subscriptions, redemptions, and transfer requests.
• Manage investor communications and inquiries.
• Execute payment instructions and other transactional operations.
• Ensure investor expectations are met while upholding all fund rules and representations.
• Maintain accurate and well-organised internal records, including systematic filing of transaction and investor documentation.
• Update investor information within transfer agency systems and conduct periodic database maintenance.
• Assist auditors and other advisers as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in transfer agency, ideally within private equity or hedge funds.
• Genuine interest in financial markets and the alternative investment industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
