Job Title: Senior Associate Utilities Engineer
Location: Woodlands, Singapore
Reporting to: Utilities Operations Supervisor
About the role:
Operate Utilities and WWTP System to supply Steam, Chilled Water, Electricity, WDC, WFI, Clean Steam, Compressed Air distribution, HVAC and Gases and treatment of effluent from Takeda and Baxter Healthcare SA.
How you will contribute:
Responsible for the operation of boilers and chillers. Monitor and ensure no interruption of the incoming electricity to the sub-stations serving Takeda and Baxter Healthcare SA.
Responsible for the continuous supply of Clean Utilities including WDC, WFI, Clean Steam, Compressed Air distribution, HVAC and Gases to Takeda.
Responsible for the operation of glycol chillers required for PCW generation and coldroom AHU
Responsible to operate WWTP for treatment of waste water from Takeda and Baxter Healthcare SA.
Responsible to act on the Supervisor\xe2\x80\x99s behalf for all activities when he is not around
Collect Waste Water sample and perform routine testing to determine the COD (WWTP)
Perform routine Water sample collection for WDC & WFI water and submit for QC testing
Conducts daily check and logging on utilities equipment and report any abnormality
Prepare and submit Monthly Chemical inventory list for EHS approval.
Assist Supervisor to schedule work for the Associate Engineer
Monitor and attend to the triggered alarms from utilities system through PCS, FMS and local control system.
Ability to raise Work order in C3ME
Perform Moderate front line troubleshooting during equipment failure situation in maintain supply of utilities, HVAC and WWTP operation.
Respond to emergency & urgent utilities, HVAC, Electrical and WWTP system issue and to restore the system function
Assist Supervisor in preparing the equipment for maintenance, perform equipment isolation, LOTO and support Permit to Work issuance
Perform equipment operation check after maintenance/ repair work prior to returning equipment back to operation (Return to Operation Activities)
Monitoring and maintain Chemical/Gas/LN2 inventory in supporting daily operation
Provide support to improvement project, Audit, EHS CAPA and investigation during event.
Maintain housekeeping in Utilities & WWTP Area
Perform routine checks to ensure contractors comply to Takeda\xe2\x80\x99s Specification, EHS rules and regulation, cGMP and GDP requirements
Responsible for compliance to company EHS procedure and government regulation and laws
All work must be completed in accordance with cGMPs, SOPs, job plans, and Takeda policies
Expect to perform rotation shift duty on a regular schedule basis.
Provide knowledge sharing to new team members.
Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.

What you bring to Takeda:
Education and Experience Requirements
NITEC (NTC/ ITC) Min 8 years of relevant working experience/ Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with Min 3 years of relevant working experience or equivalent
Boiler Attendant Class 1 certification by MOM.
Knowledgeable of Utility Operations
Ability to effectively communicate ideas through verbal and written form
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to interact constructively with peers/teams
Ability to seek outside resources as needed
Building Management System Operational Knowledge
Ability to read and understand schematics and job blueprints
Shift duty is required and willing to be scheduled for call-outs during non-office hours to support manufacturing emergencies
Key Skills and Competencies:
Acquire Advanced Level competency for operation and maintenance for Chilled Water, FMS, Steam, Electrical, HVAC, WDC, WFI, Clean Steam, WWTP, Compressed Air, HVAC and Gases module.
A team player, interpersonal and communication skills
Post knowledge of facilities services equipment operation & maintenance
Knowledge in cGMP working environment.
Must be self \xe2\x80\x93 motivated, good teamwork and good interpersonal skill.
Clear understanding of job responsibility and accountability
Must be able to perform troubleshooting during equipment breakdown
