What the role is:The Analytics & Social unit supports MOF\'s policy-making process via the application of data analytics and management of data resources. It is part of the Economic & Fiscal Analysis directorate, which is responsible for research and analysis on a range of fiscal, economic and social policy issues key to MOF.What you will be working on:We are seeking candidates with strong capabilities in data analytics and data management. You would be expected to work closely with various MOF directorates to ideate and deliver impactful projects. - Analyse large datasets using analytical tools and dashboards to inform, design and evaluate policies - Develop and maintain data infrastructure to facilitate data access and analysis - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and advise MOF policy teams on data management matters - Grow data analytics capabilities within MOFWhat we are looking for:- Strong interest in using data to inform, design and evaluate policies - Bachelor\'s degree in quantitative areas such as Statistics, Economics and Computer Science - Experience or interest in data tools such as R, Stata, Tableau, and Python - Ability to understand policy needs, and tailor analysis to inform policy design - Excellent interpersonal and communications skillsAbout Ministry of Finance:The Ministry of Finance (MOF) is responsible for managing Singapore\'s fiscal policies and the structure of its economy.
