Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channel.

Responsibilities

T&O DATA is looking to hire an experienced Spark, Web Services & Kubernetes on Cloud & Onprem for enterprise class Big Data Applications.

Requirements

• University Graduate in Computer Science or Related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in developing, maintaining and supporting Enterprise Class Big Data Applications, preferably in banking environments
• Expertise in Big Data technologies/tools/platforms such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala, HDFS, Presto, Spark, Hive, Impala, Zeppelin, Yarn, Cloudera, Hortonworks
• Strong development skills in Java & Python.
• Strong development skills in Kafka & K8s.
• Experience in Spring Boot
• Experience in Relational Databases
• Experience in Airflow
• Knowledge and experience in coding and performance tuning of Spark jobs.
• Establish and adhere to best practices relating to Apache Spark programming
• Responsible for understanding functional/non-functional requirements and implement them in Apache Spark
• Experience in usage of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket
• Experience in Apache Spark batch and streaming framework
• Knowledge of working with different file formats like Parquet, ORC, AVRO and JSON
• Knowledge of Micro Services architecture
• Knowledge of S3 is must.
• Ability to work proactively, independently and with cross-functional and cross-reginal teams
• Strong communication and analytical skills and experience in Agile projects
