INTRODUCTION
Thomson\xe2\x80\x93East Coast line (TEL) is a medium-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore that is currently under construction, being the sixth line to be built. The line was announced on 15 August 2014 by the Land Transport Authority. The fully underground line is 43 km long and consists of 31 stations, 2 Operation Control Centers (OCC), 2 Depots, and will be among the world\'s longest driverless rapid transit lines. The line will open in five stages from 2019 onwards and will be operated by Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT).
Under T252 contract, Alstom will design, supply, install and commission the signaling Urbalis 400 Communications-based train control (CBTC) system and platform screen doors for Thomson Line. TEL is a complex and challenging project for which Alstom as System Wide Contractor (SWC) needs to interface with other 29 SWCs, 35 Civil Works and 5 A/E consultants.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Senior ATS T&C Engineer
Purpose of Job
Support testing and Commissioning activities related to ATS sub-system and ATS Networking Design
Support ATS - ATC/DCS interface if required
Lead functional ATS T&C activities including Cyber Security Related with ATS
Interface with Design team for site anomaly Analysis.
Troubleshooting of anomalies reported by operator on site
Lead Functional Test related to Maintenance System
Knowledge sharing with site Testing and Commissioning team.
The main objectives of the role shall be:
To write functional ATS T&C scenarios in order to validate the correct adherence to specifications
To perform site testing based on the approved procedures and specification
To analyse the anomalies found during site testing and perform troubleshooting
To support the ATS T&C leader in the daily tasks (e.g. Configuration Follow Up, Progress Report,\xe2\x80\xa6)
To interface with Engineering team for problem solving and planning
To interface with other Contractor (SWC) whenever requested
To report clearly agreed Key project Indicators with Project Test & commissioning Manager on regular basis
Responsibilities Include:
Contribution to REX activities from different project
Present how project can be enhanced from past experiences.
Respect WHS standards
Training sub-contractor in signalling system
EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET
8-10 years of experience in Signalling, V&V, Testing and Commissioning
The candidate should have deep knowledge of ATS and overall SIG environment
The candidate should also have experience of working within similar contractor/client environment.
Good knowledge in trackside signalling architecture
Good knowledge of Defect Management and Configuration Management.
Should be able to generate test plans and/or procedures and reports, Validation principles.
Should be able to do troubleshooting on site.

The candidate should have good analysis skills.
The candidate should have Clear thinking & decision making skills and ability to manage priorities.
The candidate needs to be a quick learner.

To be able to work in an inter-cultural environment (on-shore & off-shore team).
To be able to deliver under pressure.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master Degree in Engineering with Electrical specialty or relevant experience of at least 8 years in signalling
