Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and perform internal audits to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in addressing financial, operational and compliance risks
• Examine, evaluate and review business units/functions to ensure compliance with established Group policies and procedures
• Incorporate use of data analytics in audit assignments via Excel, IDEA or other data analytics software (e.g. ACL, Tableau)
• Prepare comprehensive and well written audit reports
• Assist in special projects, ad-hoc assignments and investigations as required

Skills & Experience

• A good bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent from a recognised university/institution and relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and IDEA or other data analytics audit tools (e.g. ACL) preferred
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA and/or CFE would be an advantage.
• At least three years of relevant experience in auditing discipline with sound fundamental knowledge of auditing principles. Internal auditing experience would be an advantage
• Some overseas travelling required
• Self-motivated team player with good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Possess strong analytical, control evaluation and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential
• Strong work and professional ethics with a commitment to excellence
