About the role

We are looking for a Senior-level Automation Engineer with deep domain expertise in insurance technology platforms and a proven track record of managing quality assurance across mobile, web, and Windows-based policy administration systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in testing complex insurance fund-related workflows and aligning QA activities with enterprise test governance structures in Agile/DevOps environments.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute test strategies for complex, multi-platform insurance applications involving fund withdrawals, fund switches, e-Nominations, claims processing, and digital policy management Drive quality across end-to-end testing lifecycles, including requirement analysis, test case authoring, test data management, and defect lifecycle management Work on large-scale mobile application QA efforts, especially across Android and iOS insurance service apps Execute test planning and risk-based testing strategies in line with regulatory and data integrity standards Manage test traceability using Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure complete coverage Lead and coordinate testing efforts across modules such as fund transactions, eClaims, SGFinDex integrations, and policy conversions Collaborate with product owners, BAs, and developers to review test coverage and test depth across all Agile sprints Track defects using JIRA and ensure SLA-based triaging, resolution, and closure Contribute to the creation of test governance dashboards and test summary reports to support audit and compliance reviews Participate in Agile ceremonies and support test process alignment with enterprise Project Governance Office (PGO) standards

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on software testing experience, with at least 6 years in the insurance domain Deep understanding of insurance-specific workflows such as claims adjudication, premium tracking, customer KYC/CKA processes, and digital fund allocation Strong test management experience using HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, and deep familiarity with defect triage and test result analysis Strong experience working in Android, IOS as well as Web and Windows platforms Proficient in Agile Scrum methodology, including experience with sprint-based delivery, retrospectives, and test coverage estimation Experience with SIT and UAT test cycles, coordinating across business and technical stakeholders Familiarity with data-sensitive modules such as bonus calculations, policy bonus history, and premium due date logic Able to work across mobile, web, and legacy Windows environments, ensuring consistent QA across platforms Hands-on knowledge of creating organizational-level QA dashboards, metrics, and QA health indicators * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work across distributed and cross-functional teams
