Job Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of Process Control Systems (PCS) and Digital solutions, to control and optimize Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing operations
• Monitor and generate the periodic review and validation master plan for the automation engineering program.
• Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work, ensuring all the equipment and facilities work safely and efficiently
• Generate and develop Standard Operating Procedures and system support.
• Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
• Provide 24x7 support for automation systems and perform automation activities for capital and non-capital projects.
• Knowledge and of Automation systems integration to Digital Manufacturing M4.0 applications/ systems used for manufacturing.
• Participate in Process Centric Teams (PCT) in supporting the development of production recipes and devising automation solutions that improve productivity, business operations, and safety or quality standards.
• Modify moderate complex to highly complex control logic that requires a degree of scientific and manufacturing process expertise.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and serve as a technical trainer, whenever necessary.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in relevant studies
• Min 5 years of demonstrated experience in Automation Engineering, experience in the Pharmaceutical industry would be a plus
• Experience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents
• Experience in Automation Compliance projects
• Familiar with Process Control Equipment
• Good knowledge of Computerized Systems, Compliance regulations and standards
