Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Automation Test Lead with more than 9 years of experience in software quality assurance across Insurance, Banking, Finance, and Tax domains. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, with proven leadership in delivering high-quality solutions in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage QA teams through complete test life cycles across projects Design and implement functional, regression, integration, and non-functional testing strategies Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into test plans and strategies Drive API testing initiatives using tools like Postman or RestAssured Execute and optimize database testing, shell scripting for automation tasks, and test data setup Work closely with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum setup, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Track defects, manage their lifecycle, and generate quality reports for stakeholders Contribute to test estimations, requirement mapping, and DEx setup Guide junior QA team members and ensure adherence to QA best practices Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools Perform basic non-functional testing including performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner

Required Skills & Experience:

9+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing Domain knowledge in Insurance, Banking, and Finance Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) and manual testing Strong expertise in API testing, functional testing, and database validation Experience with Shell scripting and test automation in Unix/Linux environments Proficient in defect management, test documentation, and reporting Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Strong leadership, team coordination, and mentoring abilities Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and Test Management tools Exposure to non-functional testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in multi-client environments, including government or BFSI sectors * ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
