Job Overview:

As a

Senior Automotive Mechanic

, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. You will also lead junior technicians, oversee quality control, and ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models. Lead and supervise a team of junior mechanics or technicians. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, suspension work, and engine tuning. Inspect vehicles and provide accurate estimates and recommendations to service advisors/customers. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and company quality standards. Maintain proper documentation of services performed and parts used. Stay updated with new automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and service techniques. Ensure workshop tools and equipment are properly maintained. Adhere to workplace safety and environmental standards.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Relevant vocational certificate or diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent. Strong knowledge in electrical diagnostics, engine systems, air-conditioning, transmission, and hybrid systems is a plus. Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and automotive software. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and strong commitment to delivering quality service. Willingness to mentor junior staff and lead by example. Possess a valid driver's license.
