We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a

Senior Avaloq Solution Manage.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will


Be accountable for designing IT solutions that align with business needs and technical/non-functional requirements ensuring scalability, reliability, and meeting HSBC's performance standards Work closely with business stakeholders to understand the needs, goals and scope of the upcoming projects, ensuring that the technical design aligns with business objectives and provide detailed cost estimate for solution development, customization and integration Guide the technical team to ensure Avaloq is effectively integrated with other systems and is customized accordingly Provide technical insights and guidance to Product Owners and Business Analysts Provide best-practices in developing the system to ensure the solutions are not only effective and efficient but also maintain high quality standard and are maintainable over time Work with the vendor to support ongoing solution enhancements, monitor regulatory updates, and understand the technical roadmap Conduct comprehensive reviews of business processes, identify system gaps, find opportunities for optimization and ensure compliance with local regulations Maintain close interactions with internal clients, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders through regular project updates and effective networking Requirements
To be successful you will need


Extensive experience with Avaloq: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite, including implementation, customization, migration and integration Banking domain knowledge in transactional banking, securities and OTC trading, Finance, Lombard lending and other Private Bank products and services is a significant advantage Experienced in major Avaloq implementation projects Ability to interact with various business users across multiple banking domains and influence strategic decision-makers and functional stakeholders Excellent communication skills to present, discuss, and explain issues coherently and logically, both in writing and verbally Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approach
