Senior Backend Engineer, Core TeamDepartment: BackendEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: SingaporeDescriptionThis position implies that you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the backend services that stand behind our social network and music creation features. Your work will impact millions of our users so what you build must be scalable and highly performant. You will grow in an environment passionate about knowledge-sharing and code review; experience a development culture that uses state-of-the-art technologies. You will work with a cross-functional team that is responsible for the core functionality of BandLab.We are a diverse and distributed team, where some roles are tied to particular regions or time zones to ensure effective connection and collaboration during work hours. If you\'re looking for a remote work option from outside of Singapore, for this role, we operate within the GMT+2 to GMT+9 time zones.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems using modern technologies and best practices
• Develop RESTful APIs that are scalable, secure, and built with maintainability in mind
• Work with the team to identify and improve the performance and reliability of backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features
• Write and maintain technical documentation for backend systems
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the development process
• Work with a large codebase written in .NET C#, Node.js JS/TS, Go
• Mentor and guide teammates
• Launch and lead new projects

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Expert in one of: .NET (C# or F#), Java, Node.js, Go
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and cloud-native applications by leveraging IaC
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDb, CosmosDb, Firestore
• Practical experience with microservice architecture and high-load systems
• Excellent understanding of networking, client-server communication, and OAuth2/OpenID Connect
• Being tech stack agnostic
