Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is looking for an experience biofuels trader to join our global agricultural trading client in Singapore.
Responsibilities:

• Trade in biofuels/biodiesel and ethanol across APAC/Europe.
• Work with the logistics/operations team to ensure smooth operations of the trading book
• Put together market insights/reports on the global biofuels/petchem space for the trading team
• Build and maintain relationships with firms across biofuels trading and production, increasing the trading book for the firm across the APAC region
• Work closely with senior management on trading strategy and new ventures, looking into new geographies and regions

Experience:

• 12 years' experience on physical biofuels trading
• Degree educated
• Experience across biofuels and ethanol with a strong knowledge of tanker chartering and operations
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Able to travel when required
