Job Responsibilities

Acting as the primary escalation point for complex issues involving clients, consultants, joint venture partners, and subcontractors. Directing the project team to meet all targets for safety, quality, profitability, and scheduling, while closely monitoring progress. Identifying and empowering key personnel by delegating responsibilities and providing clear guidance to achieve project goals. Overseeing personnel management and professional development within the project team. Managing the entire tendering process, from providing strategic direction on planning and construction methods to ensuring high-quality submissions, managing risks, and leading final price negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

Master's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. At least 25 years of professional experience in building construction. A minimum of 10 years' demonstrated experience in a project management capacity (Project Manager, Construction Manager, Technical Manager) on construction projects for a main contractor within the Southeast Asian region. Comprehensive understanding of all project phases, from budgeting and scheduling to risk assessment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, senior management, and project teams. Excellent organizational, time management, and logical decision-making skills. Thorough knowledge of relevant legal regulations and safety standards. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines. * Proven ability to work well under pressure.
