Key Requirements (must-have and preferred combined):
Mandatory proficiency
in authoring detailed
data lineage, mapping specifications, and reconciliation frameworks
across multiple source systems and staging layers, with traceability down to attribute-level governance.
Proven knowledge in
balance sheet, liquidity, and capital adequacy reporting
principles, with additional exposure to
treasury product control, risk-weighted asset computation, and management accounting data models
.
Advanced competency in
MS SQL development
(including optimization of highly complex, multi-join queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuning for large-volume regulatory datasets).
Prior involvement in
data warehouse modernization projects
, including ETL pipeline validation, schema harmonization, and historical backfill testing.
Familiarity with
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
methodologies in both agile and waterfall delivery models, including preparation of
Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Non-Functional Specifications (NFS), data dictionaries, and compliance sign-off packs
.
Preferred certifications:
CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, CFA, FRM, or equivalent
(candidates with dual or multiple certifications will be prioritized).
Experience coordinating
multi-region stakeholder workshops
, reconciling divergent business requirements, and driving consensus on design scope across global teams.

System Integration Testing (SIT)
and
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
phases, including test strategy formulation, defect triage, and audit trail documentation aligned to
project lifecycle governance frameworks
.
Ability to conduct
peer reviews of functional and technical specifications
, proactively identify potential design deviations, and articulate remediation strategies prior to production deployment.
Experience preparing
regulatory submission validation packs
, ensuring output consistency between upstream sources, staging areas, and final regulator-facing templates.
Additional Considerations:
Candidates should demonstrate adaptability to
fast-evolving compliance landscapes
and be capable of
self-directed research
on upcoming central bank mandates.
Strong
cross-domain knowledge
(core banking, treasury, credit risk, operational risk, and financial control) will be considered a strong differentiator.
* Only applicants with
prior hands-on project involvement
in MAS610/HKMA reporting deliverables will be considered.
