Our Client:

Our client is one of the leading American MNC and they are actively looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support their continued growth in SEA markets.

About the Role:

If you have an experience in B2B & B2C sales you will be able to develop & execute sales strategies to drive sales of their market leading protective case solutions and applications across multiple industries with a particular focus serving clients in Military, Government, Law Enforcement, Petroleum, Aviation, Aerospace, Fire Safety, and Industrial industries worldwide.

You must be able to work closely on sales projects with distributors, dealers, and OEM customers you will ideally have some previous experience of managing Channel Partners / Distributors / Resellers sales teams, working closely with them to ensure sales and marketing goals are being achieved. The Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business by establishing relationships with new customers
  • Develop and expand company\'s distribution networks
  • Develop awareness of protective case solutions and applications across multiple industries
  • Work closely on sales projects with distributors, dealers, and OEM customers
  • Visit dealers, end-users, and OEM customers to perform product training
  • Meet with resellers to determine commercial activity in the area, review status of current sales efforts, resolve problems, ensure sales and marketing goals are being achieved
  • Assist with preparation of proposals and quotations
  • Represent the company & their products at trade shows
  • Update customer database (CRM) and document customer-related activity
  • When required, liaise with internal manufacturing and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • When required, assist Finance and Operations in resolving customer issues
The Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in B2B / B2C sales of industrial products
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales budgets
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in managing distribution network
  • Experience in selling bespoke products desired but not mandatory
  • Ability to effectively close deals and manage sales cycles of varied length
  • Ability to quickly learn technical aspects of their products portfolio and specific markets relating to them
  • Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to communicate technical sales information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in using SAP and Salesforce (or similar) desired
