Job Purpose

• Analyze/identify supply chain improvement opportunities, implement and execute continuous improvement
• Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and sourcing departments to acquire supply in a cost effective and timely manner
• Procures materials, components, equipment and services as per business needs
• Monitors the cost, delivery schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value
• Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures Key Responsibilities
• Lead improvement tasks/projects to make breakthrough in supply management
• Develop and execute supply resiliency plans to achieve supply assurance
• Support commodity managers to implement productivity projects
• Support and manage major/critical supply recovery and assure continuity supply with no line stoppage
• Trouble shooting with suppliers on delivery. Have sense of urgency and priority.
• Find root cause of issues and find solutions to tackle issues systematically
• Manage suppliers On-Time delivery performance and able to find ways to improve
• Coordinate the Engineering Change Order and assure implementation effectively RFQ based on Sourcing’s strategy
• Interact with suppliers and various departments regarding procurement Policy & Procedures Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

Organizational Competencies Functional

• Semiconductor Commodity experience is a plus
• Solid knowledge and experience on manufacturing supply chain management
• Be able to manage major/critical supply recovery
• Able to analyze the supplier performance and find improvement opportunities
• Be able to analyze root cause of issues and find solutions to tackle issues systematically.
• SAP/Lean knowledge is a plus
• Be able to speak English fluently and be able to present

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Bachelor Degree qualification preferably in Supply Chain Management
• 5-8 years’ supply management experience in manufacturing environment
• Commodity/sourcing/project management experience is a plus
