Participates in tender-to-projects life cycle to manage third party sourcing and procurement activities, applying best practices to these projects to achieve year on year saving, compliance, and efficiency

How you will do it:

  • Demonstrates strong skills to drive procurement strategies to achieve best in class delivery, quality, cost, and compliance in country to align to business outcome
  • Drives procurement process on suppliers' framework (identification, research, evaluation, selection, management) and management of supplier database including strategic suppliers
  • Drive standard pricing in an effective way with management of material master database
  • Lead from procurement in projects/product life cycle to manage all 3rd party sourcing and procurement activities, applying best practices to these projects to achieve year on year saving by leveraging on "spend", focus on compliance and efficiency
  • Manages daily procurement transactions that involve the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including but not limited to new supplier approval, vendor master maintenance, PO execution, delivery of goods and services and three-way matching of invoice/PO/delivery note
  • Works across functional teams and manage expectations effectively, in pursuit of sustainable best in class strategic sourcing practices aligned to global direction
  • Upholds internal and external policies, regulations, and laws
  • Implements continuous improvement and cost reduction culture, leveraging on best practice across regions
  • Experience in managing logistics team for the daily logistics operations including the shipment of purchased goods, inventory management and customs will be an advantage
  • Support other initiatives (local / regional level) that were driven by APAC Procurement and Transformation Team whenever it is required
  • All other assignments as needed by leadership team
What we look for:
  • Min 6 years in Procurement (Negotiation/Supplier Management/cost analysis) in global organization.
  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Added advantage with procurement project management and suppliers / subcons management experience in the Oil & Gas, Shipyard or Building (Construction / Facilities Management) Industry.
  • Sourcing Experience in negotitating and establishing Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Annual Schedule of Rates (SOR) with subcontractors.
  • Experience in working with ERP, purchasing tools and process & contract T&C.
  • Experience in working in matrix organization and change environment. . Self-motivated and open minded with passion to challenge status quo and drive for continuous improvement. . Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
