Section 1 Responsibilities and Authorities

• Responsible for master scheduling, capacity planning and machine loading to meet operational objectives.
• Analyze and coordinate with master scheduler / Supply Chain team to resolve efficient RM & FG inventories in distribution centers to ensure customer order fulfillment.
• Ensure customer order was fulfilled timely through distribution center or cross dock.
• Analyze and resolve efficient inventory turns or level for FG and raw material to meet corporate target, improve manufacturing resources and customer fulfillment.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with various departments like quality assurance, manufacturing, engineering, logistics and customer service etc.
• Maintain and improve good relationship with suppliers and resolve supplier\xe2\x80\x99s critical metric.
• Responsible for the team in internal and external audit activities.
• Handle and lead related projects or NPI in procurement, planning and purchasing function.
• Prepare reports and data for corporate relating to purchasing and planning functions.
• Resolve any new department operation procedure is required and implemented.
• Analyze and prepare recommendations to improve policy, standard procedure, computer system, forecasts method and projects.
• Provide mentorship and training for new or senior buyer/planners.
• Deploy judgment and techniques to resolve complex issues that require extensive evaluation and analysis efforts.
• Qualification
• Degree in Materials Management or equivalent
• Experience
• Minimum 8 years related experience required in buying and planning activities in a manufacturing environment. More extensive experience required for non-Degree holders.
• Competencies preferred
• Require good solid understanding of materials or product flow and control techniques.
• Able to work independently and guide peers to achieve departmental goals.
• Possess analytical and problem solving skill.
• Able to balance multiple projects and multi-task.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• ERP, MRP (JDE, SAP, system) excel and PowerBI experience required.
