• Working hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:30pm (Hybrid working arrangement)
• Salary up to S$5,000 + AWS + VB

Our Client is a global market leader as an automotive parts supplier.

s:

• Processes RFQ from various affiliates and maintains price contracts in Global database system.
• Leads in negotiation of purchase terms and conditions with each supplier.
• Supports Advanced Purchasing with cost reduction strategies or sourcing of new suppliers.
• Sets cost reduction objectives and develops cost improvement strategies with suppliers.
• Conducts market benchmarking and cost control renegotiations to maintain cost competitiveness.
• Manages selection of alternate sources of suppliers, consistency of quality and competitive pricing.
• Manages supply chain optimization through price harmonization, localization, and logistics routes.
• Champions the SCR (Supplier Change Request), ensure SCR are closed out on time defined within the process.
• Ensures compliance with all documentation (including NDA, supplier contracts, SCN, PCN, SCR and price evaluation reports).
• Manages supplier performance according to QCDE (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Environmental) to achieve overall targets and objectives.
• Conducts business reviews with key suppliers to improve overall performance.
• Works closely with Supplier, Quality, Engineering and factories to resolve material-related issues.
• Identifies cost savings opportunities with Regional Commodity Purchasing Team.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Between 5 to 7 years of experience leading purchasing and sourcing activities.
• Purchasing experience in commodities such as Connections Systems, Routing, Fixations or Wires/Tapes/Sleeving will be an advantage.
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in automotive sector with exposure in Purchasing Analytics.
• Proficient in MS Office Suites especially MS Excel.
• Preferably with ability to read drawings and schematics.

Job Type Permanent Full Time

Salary From S$4,500.00 to S$5,000.00
