Job Summary:

This position provides administrative support to the Claims team and involves handling of simple straight-forward claims.

Duties and Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Assist in system data entry including claim registration, payments and reserve adjustments, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Handle First Notification of Loss ("FNOL"), enquiries or claims and where necessary, contact with customers, intermediaries, external service providers, third parties, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Set up and manage filing and administrative systems to ensure that necessary information is recorded, secure and accessible.

\xc2\xb7 Assist in claim files and documents preparation and/or processing for onward handling by respective Claims handlers.

\xc2\xb7 Process/handle simple and straight forward claims under guidance within assigned authority and agreed service standard as and when required.

\xc2\xb7 Deliver duties within agreed service turnaround time and claims service KPI targets.

\xc2\xb7 Additional duties and responsibilities as warranted.

\xc2\xb7 Relevant academic qualification.

\xc2\xb7 Possess Certificate of General Insurance ("CGI") from the Singapore College of Insurance is a minimum requirement. Where the job holder does not have this minimum qualification, the job holder is expected to complete the examinations and achieve the CGI within the probation period.

\xc2\xb7 Preferable 1 to 2 years working experience. Basic general insurance knowledge is preferred. Fresh graduate can be considered as well.

\xc2\xb7 Administrative skills or experience is preferred.

\xc2\xb7 A good team player and able to work independently.

\xc2\xb7 Possess good interpersonal and customer service skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work on relevant PC applications.
