Senior Cloud Architect And Engineer
Job Description
Lead the design of cloud-native architectures for complex, large-scale enterprise and digital-native workloads.
Define reference architectures, reusable patterns, and best practices for multitier, microservices, and serverless applications.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for scalability, resilience, performance, and cost optimization.
Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to align architectures with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Building and deploying cloud-native applications using Java with the Spring Boot framework and related technologies.
Architecting and implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable delivery.
Provisioning and managing AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and ELB.
Automating infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across applications and infrastructure in both production and non-production environments.
Work with CloudOps, DBA, Security, and application teams to deliver compliant and cost-optimized solutions.
Support the CCoE in driving adoption of best practices and reusable frameworks across projects.
Contribute to technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering roles. Hands-on expertise with AWS core services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, ELB, VPC, IAM). Proficiency in Java with expertise in the Spring Boot framework. Solid understanding of container-based deployments, orchestration, and lifecycle management. Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell. Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure architectures. Strong knowledge of CI/CD and automation frameworks (GitLab, CloudFormation, Terraform). Working knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and encryption practices. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives, architects, and developers.
