Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Developer with a strong background in API and microservices development using AWS cloud technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications and APIs, leveraging a range of AWS services and modern serverless architecture. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of backend development experience with a strong command of AWS services, RESTful and GraphQL API design, and CI/CD automation.


You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, secure, and reliable cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable and secure APIs and microservices using AWS technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, and DynamoDB Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web, mobile, and third-party integrations Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS best practices Write clean, reusable, and efficient code in Node.js, Python, or Java Ensure application scalability, performance tuning, and cost optimization Collaborate in architecture design discussions and conduct peer code reviews Integrate APIs with both internal systems and external services Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions Work in close coordination with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to meet project goals

Required Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in backend development and API design Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch Strong programming experience with Node.js, Python, or Java Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs Understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven systems Knowledge of API security protocols and standards including OAuth2 and JWT Familiarity with source control (Git) and CI/CD workflows Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate or higher) Experience with GraphQL federation or asynchronous messaging services (SNS, SQS) Exposure to containerized environments using Docker, AWS Fargate, or EKS Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK * Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
