Job Description


The Senior Compensation Consultant, APAC, provides expert compensation advice and consultancy to the business entity across APAC. The role involves planning, developing, and implementing compensation programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with Total Rewards principles, company goals, and competitive practices. It ensures that compensation programs comply with internal policies and market regulations.Key Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Oversee and update existing compensation programs; develop and implement new ones.
  • Annual Compensation Exercises: Coordinate bonus programs, equity pool reviews, and communicate with stakeholders and employees.
  • Collaboration: Work with HR data/reporting teams to review off-cycle salary adjustments and promotions.
  • HR Support: Advise and assist HR Business Partners (HRBP) with compensation proposals for new hires.
  • Effectiveness Monitoring: Evaluate current compensation practices and recommend cost-effective, trend-aligned changes.
  • Policy Compliance: Assist country HR teams in updating remuneration policies to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on Compensation & Benefits (C&B) market developments in APAC.
  • Special Projects: Provide compensation input for special projects like M&A and restructuring.
  • Additional Tasks: Handle other compensation-related projects as needed.
Skills & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in employee compensation, preferably in a global, matrixed organization; life insurance experience is a plus.
  • Collaboration: Ability to build effective relationships, influence behavior, and manage change.
  • Integrity: High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to share ideas and listen actively.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Constructive Challenge: Ability to challenge ideas and processes constructively.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and elevate issues, providing timely solutions.
