Analyze and evaluate risks for construction and engineering-related insurance products, ensuring sound underwriting decisions
Develop and execute underwriting strategies in alignment with team and company objectives
Collaborate with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to design bespoke insurance solutions for the construction industry
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging risks to maintain a competitive edge
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members when needed
Ensure compliance with internal underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements and industry standards
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in P&C underwriting, risk engineering or broking, with a focus on technical lines or engineering risks
Strong knowledge of the construction sector, including emerging trends and regulatory frameworks
Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
APAC experience preferred
Professional qualifications in insurance are an advantage but not mandatory
