Business Consulting works with clients to reimagine or transform their business purpose and model; create growth; manage cost and efficiency; respond to market pressures and regulation; and resolve operational challenges. The scope of this team encompasses innovation, strategy and purpose, through deep functional experience in business transformation, finance, supply chain and operations, providing support for the complex and large-scale program and portfolio management.



It has multiple fields of play such as:

Finance Consulting

- helps assess and transform our clients' finance function to improve performance and effectiveness. We help organizations implement service and cost improvement initiatives, and embed a performance management process and culture that unites the business around its core objectives.

Business Transformation

- a multidisciplinary competency, gathering capabilities in transformation architecture, experience design, business design and transformation execution to problem-solve, design and deliver large scale, multi-year, multi-stakeholder transformation programs.

Supply Chain and Operations

- we provide a unique combination of industry-specific, strategic, operational and financial insights, digital technology advances and strategic alliance partners to deliver better outcomes and also help clients effect fundamental change in their operations' performance to support sales growth, become more cost competitive, minimize risk and ensure operational resilience.

Your key responsibilities

The Commercial Transformation team focuses on strategy, future operating models, experience design, platforms, innovation and execution. The sheer nature of wide scope of work will require you to collaborate across teams to bring the best of EY to solve the client's problem statements Support senior team in developing new content for our clients which can include market research/sizing, as well as creating scalable digital solutions that solve teething client issues Prepare timely, quality output and deliverables per client's needs Participate in business development activities and create client pitches and proposals Form part of our client project delivery teams where you will manage deliverables, analyze data, prepare presentations and design solutions

Skills And Attributes For Success

Technical Excellence



Expertise in two or more of the areas listed - Go to Market Strategy / Commercial Diligence / Business planning / Performance improvement of internal operations Experience handling consulting/ technology led transformation projects Experience in business development through building of proposal, value proposition for client needs

Qualification

Degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Business, Finance, or Quantitative disciplines is preferred and currently in your final year of undergraduate study. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, business writing and interest in further designing, developing and integrating business operations and technology Strong analytical skills Familiarity with Powerpoint and Excel Able to research client inquiries and emerging issues

Experience

4 to 6 years of relevant post qualification experience, preferably from Consulting, Commercial Transactions or Industry with significant expertise in at least three of the areas listed - Business transformation, Business process Re-engineering, Market assessment, Post-merger integration, Strategy and Business planning, Sales and Marketing improvement / transformation, Strategic Cost Reduction, Supply Chain Management / transformation


Ideally you should also bring core sector expertise in one or more of the following sectors - Automotives, consumer products, healthcare and life science.
